Wilson Tiren’s deep-rooted connection to the Lake Baringo region, where he was born and raised, shaped his lifelong passion for birding and natural history. From a tender age, he immersed himself in the world of birds and nature, spending his youth conducting avian surveys and assisting scientists in research data collection. This early involvement provided him with an intimate understanding of the area’s rich natural history.

Following his education, Wilson embarked on extensive travels across Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, further honing his expertise in birding and naturalist skills. For approximately a decade, he has served as a bird guide, offering his wealth of knowledge and experience to enthusiasts and travelers.

Wilson is not only a knowledgeable and experienced naturalist but also possesses excellent birding and interpersonal skills. His enthusiasm for learning and sharing extends beyond birdwatching to all aspects of natural history. He revels in the opportunity to introduce others to the wonders of the natural world. Additionally, he has a keen interest in exploring new destinations and engaging in countryside hikes.

In addition to his expertise in birdwatching, Wilson has expanded his skill set to include entomology and herpetology, participating in short courses to further deepen his knowledge. His dedication to the natural world and his commitment to sharing it with others make him a valuable asset to any birdwatching or wildlife expedition.
